From spiritual growth to community bonding, this year’s edition of Life Conference brought profound moments of reflection and inspiration. Held from June 6 to 8 , Life Conference is an annual event where Trinitarians gather in unity with fellow church members and receive from a lineup of anointed guest speakers.

Day 1
The morning air was abuzz with excitement for the first in-person Life Conference since Trinity 3.0 was launched. A snaking queue formed in the Trinity Paya Lebar foyer, as Trinitarians came in expectation to Celebrate Life and Empower Lives – the conference’s theme.
Many of the 1,700 conference participants came in the morning to register their attendance for the next three days, and collected their brand new Trinity T-shirts.
After that, they partook together of the provided breakfast – a sumptuous spread made all the more satisfying by the fellowship.
Pastor Gerald Tan then opened the conference with a sermon entitled From the Mountain to the Temple, through which we learned about two of Jesus’ key places for intimacy with God and ministry - the key to celebrating life and empowering lives.
In the afternoon, Pastors David Hall and Philip Lyn preached about Being Immersed in the Spirit and Making True Friends respectively, with a tea break and games session in between.
And when the guest speakers weren’t preaching to the adults, they were with the youth in IGNYTE – Pastor David preached about the Power of the Name of Jesus. “Pastor David’s message in IGNYTE was really relatable for us youths. It focused on the power of the name of Jesus, which felt very relevant to what we face daily,” shared Sarah Tan. Hoh Hue Wen added, “I appreciated that the talk wasn’t about work or adult issues. It made the message about Jesus’ power more engaging and impactful for us.”
Day 2
The second day of the conference saw three more plenary sessions from our conference speakers, covering topics such as how to Rest and Refill in the Sabbath to Empowering Lives through the power of impartation.
Nicholas Teo, a Young Adult from Area 4, got his biggest takeaway from Pastor David’s retelling of the story of how Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke was prayed over by George Jeffreys and received the impartation of power for his future ministry, and similarly was convicted of the message that we should pass down our legacy and spiritual baton to our next generation. Nicholas shared, “What really left a thought was when Rev David mentioned about how God orchestrated the British evangelist to pray for Bonnke. And to me, I feel that we should pass down our legacy to the next generation… to share with them and show them how good our God is.”
Meanwhile in DiscoveryLand, our younger Trinitarians were learning about similar lessons through fun and games. “My favorite part of Day 2 was learning about the power of the Holy Spirit,” shared Matthew Setho.
Day 3
The final day of Life Conference was the Family Carnival, open to families, biological and spiritual, to come and fellowship on a Saturday. Trinitarians came and participated in various programs, lovingly put together by the pastoral staff and volunteers – from how to make a good cup of coffee and face painting, to calligraphy and balloon sculpting.
Throughout the three days of Life Conference and its numerous services, plenary sessions, and activities, many Trinitarians had received something from the Lord across the different activities and plenary sessions, and learned what it meant to Celebrate Life and Empower Lives.

Reflect & Respond
From our learnings in Life Conference, how might we use it to Love God Passionately, Love Church Zealously, and Love Souls Relentlessly on a higher level?
Pray that we may take away this heart of Empowering Lives beyond just the three days of the conference to our daily lives and the people around us!
