“I felt that there was fire on my head and I knew the Lord was healing me.” Read on to find out how Joylynn encountered God on Power Weekend and experienced His miraculous healing of her digestion issue.

Since September 2022, 39-year-old Joylynn Koh had been suffering from unknown digestion problems. Almost every day, she would feel an uncomfortable sharp pain in her stomach. In addition, she was constantly burping. Both symptoms greatly affected her daily life.
The altars were flooded with people, and service extended past the usual time as many came hungry for God's presence.
Despite going for medical check-ups, doctors could not diagnose the issue. Said Joylynn: “When I went to see the doctor, he said maybe I imagined it as (the check-ups) showed no problems."
The doctors even asked Joylynn to go for an ultrasound scan, which still did not show anything out of the ordinary.
“They said everything looks normal which was good to know, but the problem is not solved.”
Knowing that Power Weekend was coming up on May 20 and 21, Joylynn attended the 5pm Saturday service at Trinity@Paya Lebar in faith, firmly believing that God has the power to heal her.
As service went on, Evangelist Nathan Morris called for different medical conditions and prayed for different healing needs. The altars were flooded with people, and service extended past the usual time as many came hungry for God’s presence.
“I think because he was calling out for different kinds of cancers and serious issues, I thought there was no chance to go down (to the altar).” She also thought that perhaps it was not God’s timing for her to be healed yet, so she accepted having to continue waiting on Him.
I know this healing is really for me!
However, at about 7:30pm, Evangelist Nathan called out for someone with a digestion issue. Joylynn exclaimed: “I was the only one to go up on stage for the digestion problem, so I know this healing is really for me!”
As Evangelist Nathan laid his hand on Joylynn and prayed, Joylynn recounted feeling heat transferring from the evangelist to her.
I felt that there was a fire on my head. I knew the Lord was healing me.
“When he prayed for me, I felt that there was fire on my head. I knew the Lord was healing me.”
The next thing she knew, Joylynn felt the power of the Holy Spirit come upon her and she fell to the ground.
“I knew it was the Holy Spirit because my mind was very clear, but I couldn’t move my body. I could also feel the heat transferring into my body and movement in my stomach. So I just laid there, thanking Him.”
I knew it was the Holy Spirit.
When Joylynn awoke, she no longer felt any pain in her stomach. Till today, she is free from pain and knows that God has completely healed her!
“I feel that I need to spread the word and let people know of God’s healing power!”
Beyond the miraculous healing, God’s peace and joy was exhibited in Joylynn’s demeanour.

“Even if there was no healing, (Power Weekend) was a good experience, because it was a God encounter”.
